# How to create plant recognition with using firebase?

Make a list of all the things your app needs. You might need to use google for this.

On paper, create your app step by step or screen by screen.

Then use Thunkable X to create your UI and blocks. If you get stuck show us what you have done and ask for help.

If you want to allow the user to identify a plant based on a photo they take, you’re going to need to find an API that does that and figure out to use it.

Start by Googling _plant recognition api_
