# How to create a crop image function whenever I open the camera function

How do I enable the function of cropping the images whenever I open the camera function?

What does that mean? Is that native to the phone’s OS? I can’t crop images while taking them on an iPhone… I can zoom in or out… is that what you want?

You can do cropping with an API like Cloudinary but that’s after you take and upload the image.

How do I implement this square box when I open the camera function so that the camera can just focus on the plate number without capturing other parts of the screen?

How do I enable the function that whenever I open up the camera function, then there would be a square box just like the picture shown above so that I can focus on capturing the plate number that I want?

I don’t know. I don’t think there are any settings for the camera in Thunkable.
