# How to add sender id/name

Hello , i created an app that works with sms . What i want to achieve with your help is that when i send a message , it is the sender id/name of the administrator that will show that the message is coming from and not the number of the device . Pls help me to achieve such

How would that work over SMS? I’ve never received a text and automatically been shown a name for the sender instead of the number it was sent from or a short code.

Your probably need to consult with the service sending your sms messages. Are you using Twilio?

I dont have google’s number stored on my phone but yet it showed that the sender id was Google( the name on top) . I want to be able to do that with my app . Do you know any possible way i can implement that ?
