Hi there,

Are you looking for information on [Push Notifications](https://docs.thunkable.com/push-notifications-by-one-signal) or some other kind of notification?

No, I’m looking for having a notification when a timer ends but I want that the notification to show up eve if the up is running in background

You can get an [Alert](https://docs.thunkable.com/alert) to show in your app when a Timer fires, but it will only show if the user has the app open.

Push Notifications are the only way to notify your user regardless of whether they have the app open.

Thanks,
Jane
