# How do I filter data from a local database from results from another database?

How do I filter data from a local database from results from another database? I need to filter data from one bank based on the name in another bank. I need to confirm the existence of the “name” value from one database in another database. I need to find the result ID in the other database to filter the values.

This is a fairly common topic in our forum. You should be able to do a [search](https://community.thunkable.com/search?q=filter%20local%20data%20order:latest) of the Community by clicking on the magnifying glass in the top right portion of your screen.
This particular topic from a while ago discusses filtering a local data source.

I don’t want to order results. I need to receive the ID of a result in another database
