I have a web server with a single item on the web page. The web viewer grabs that item and displays it in the web viewer. Now I want to assign that result to a variable. I tried Web Viewer “Receives message”, but no joy. I appreciate any help,

In order to get that block to work you will need to add some JS to your web page:

> **[GitHub - thunkable/webviewer-extension: Communicate between the Thunkable Web Viewer and a...](https://github.com/thunkable/webviewer-extension/)**
>
> Communicate between the Thunkable Web Viewer and a website

Hope that helps!
