# Help in stored variable

how to achieve this : \* When the app starts, the user sees the BrandingScreen.

- In the `BrandingScreen.Initialize` event block, we check if it’s the first time the app is being opened (`isFirstTimeOpen` variable).
- If it’s the first time, we set `isFirstTimeOpen` to `false`, indicating that the app has been opened at least once.
- If it’s not the first time, we retrieve the value of the `lastScreen` variable and navigate the user to that screen.
- Throughout the app, whenever the user navigates away from a screen (e.g., by clicking a button), we update the value of the `lastScreen` variable with the name of the current screen.
