Hello all, I have got the following message from Google play about my app. Do we know how and when this will be resolved? Thanks for the help! Update your target API level by August 31, 2025 to release updates to your app We’ve detected that your app is targeting an old version of Android. To provide users with a safe and secure experience, Google Play requires all apps to meet target API level requirements. From August 31, 2025, if your target API level is not within 1 year of the latest Android release, you won’t be able to update your app. We’ve detected that your app is targeting an old version of Android. Thanks but from messages it seems it’s something Thunkable needs to address as it noted to me that my app doesn’t adhere to Google Play Developer Program policies and Google will take action unless I fix violations before the deadlines. In any case Thunkable should be keep itself updated for meeting these platform requirements, policies. ---

So only Thunkable engineers need to update the API levels? And when will they be updated? Is there any news on this? I urgently need to resolve this issue. ---

Hi @infoehck1, This is just a warning and there is time until the end of next month. Our engineering team is working on it, but we do not have a specific timeline yet for when it will be released. After the update is released, you have to publish an update for your app. ---

ok but I have company deadlines to respect please do everything possible to resolve this quickly, may I know how you will let us know that you have carried out the update? ---

To offer some context here, we do fully anticipate having this update done well before the August 31 deadline. These sorts of updates are some of the more complex updates for our developers. The best way I can describe it is as if you were attempting to redo only the ground floor of a skyscraper while keeping the rest of the building in tact. It requires very careful planning and execution. Additionally, our QA team has to do an extraordinary amount of testing to ensure that the updates are done so that all of our libraries and code base still work without bugs. We appreciate everyone’s patience with this update. We’ll be sure to update you here and via other channels once it is complete. ---

There is an option to extend it to November 1st, to be honest just do that since the update should be done late August. (If your worried about your app not being to be updated anymore) ---
