# Get item from a JSON, randomly

Hi, I’m trying to get an item from a JSON in Firebase, Randomly. Could you help me?

I think it would be a good option to convert the JSON to list but I can’t get

Here’s one example, using [Cloud variables](https://docs.thunkable.com/variables#app-stored-and-cloud-variables) (which is the easiest way to use Firebase):

The key is to realize that the name of the cloud variable is a Firebase key.

Hello, thanks for the answer.  
Currently I have something very similar.

The problem is that the database in firebase is going to be dynamic.  
I don’t have a static route to find the variables.
