# Error message occurs when using LocalStorage blocks

Hello,

When i try to duplicate or add new Local Storage blocks in snap to place, this error occurs:

It happens 50/60% of the times usually when i click on “duplicate” on a Local Storage block or when I try to add a new one

Hello @maurizio.polverini89  
I tested the block but I can’t replicate the issue.  
We recommend that you use [stored variables](https://docs.thunkable.com/blocks/blocks/variables-overview#stored-variables) instead of Local storage blocks
