# Email Sign In by Firebase

thunkable provided an example block for email authentication like this:

‘sign up ~ with password ~’  
‘sign in ~ with password ~’  
But I can’t find a block like this.

Where can I find it?

Even if I add a sign in component, it is not visible.

You need to add a sign in component to your project.

You haven’t added a Sign In component. You’ve actually added a visible UI component and named it Sign In. If you are on the new UI, use the sign in blocks in the auth tab, else drag the invisible Sign In componentbin the design tab.
