# ElevenLabs TTS Posting, Web API

The source you’ve set is incomplete. It’s only the prefix of the sound file, not the actual audio data.

Two things that are helpful when asking about APIs:

1. Provide a link to the relevant section of the documentation.
2. Include the value of the green response block as text (you can assign it to a text input’s text and then copy and paste it here). It’s best to format it using the \</\> button in the toolbar above your post. That removes smart quotes and other symbols that can invalidate a JSON response.
