# Dragging blocks to sidebar deletes them

I’m not sure if this is a bug or a feature but when I drag a block or set of blocks to the left side of the screen where the block drawers are in the sidebar, it deletes those blocks. Is that intentional? I keep accidentally deleting blocks and having to undo the delete and I don’t recall that happening in the past.

Okay, thank you. I would prefer that it not do that. There’s a trash can and a right-click menu to delete blocks already. But I’m not sure how other users feel about that.

yes @tatiang, i agree with you. this can be a bit annoying for users (at least for me, dont know about others)
