# Download PDF files in web view

Hello,
I have added a webview page to my app where the user can download different PDF’s The PDF’s are unique generated based on the user preference at the time of download so are not stored anywhere. On IOS the PDF opens but I cannot do anything with it and in android the file downloads empty. Wondering if anyone has any advice

If you’re only reading PDFs, use the PDF Reader component, NOT the web viewer.
