# Does Web Viewer browsing appear in browser history?

It seems like browsing done within a Web Viewer on my phone doesn’t appear in my browser history. Is that true? Or would it appear somewhere else? I’m designing an app for a sensitive population (at risk youth) and I’m hoping using a web viewer will afford them some privacy.

i mean if u are signed in the browser with ur gmail,for sure it will show history

I don’t think so. When I checked the browsing history in Chrome and Safari, it didn’t show any of the sites I visited within the Web Viewer in my app. I just wondered if someone knew for sure.
