# Do all screens run at the same time?

Hi everyone, I’m making an app for college and its running extremely slow, I’m wondering if the 5 screens I have run at the same time, its the only explanation for it.

We are glad to announce that our most recent update improves front-end performance for projects with lots of screens and components.  
We now load screen components when they become visible, and unload them when they fall out of view to reduce the burden on browser resources and enhance the Thunkable experience.  
Please let us know if it is working better for you now.

Keep in mind that you may need to do a [hard refresh](https://docs.thunkable.com/getting-started/data-sources/data-sources#hard-refresh-your-browser)of your browser for the changes to take effect in your project.
