Hi,

This can be done by appropriately changing the structure of data nodes.

At the very bottom of the page

[https://docs.thunkable.com/thunkable-cross-platform/create/components/data/realtime-db](https://docs.thunkable.com/thunkable-cross-platform/create/components/data/realtime-db)

there is an example in which the node “content” is added to the node “text”. If the “content” node is not needed, assign a text value instead object to node “text”. The “content” node will disappear.

If you want to delete the child node of their nodes of this level, you will get all the child nodes and reassemble them back without a remote node.

is it possible to modify, in real time, the API key Firebase?

On the documentation page I gave you, there is an example of getting data from the database and saving the data to the database. In addition, you need to learn how to work with the JSON format, for example, by this link.

If you find it difficult to work with Firebase, then first try working with AirTable (Spreadsheet component), which has data deletion blocks.

I’m sorry but I mean this:

There is no block for changing this field and therefore it can not be changed dynamically

exactly…
I have to create an app with a database list.

When I click on a database I have to enter the password to access it …

Of course I’m sorry, but you are trying to do what you do not need. To access the database, use the Sign In component.

[https://docs.thunkable.com/thunkable-cross-platform/create/components/sign-in/sign-in](https://docs.thunkable.com/thunkable-cross-platform/create/components/sign-in/sign-in)

Try to make a simple example first using RealtimeDB and Sign In to understand how it works.

good…

but if I distribute the app and the user wants to match it to a specific firebase database, how can I do if the api key and the URL database are precompiled in the app?

The user must be mapped not with the database, but with the data of that user in one common database.

the database is combined with a device or a series of devices belonging to the same owner, but the app is rightly generic …

Finally I realized what you want to do. This can be done using the Firebase Javascript API.

But I have a question, if the users will be 1,000,000 will you create 1,000,000 databases for them or do you want them to connect to their databases through your application?

Imagined n managers, each of which has n devices …

the database must be unique to each manager and will contain the n devices of the manager.

Thanks I got it. This functionality can be done with the Firebase Javascript API - [https://firebase.google.com/docs/web/setup](https://firebase.google.com/docs/web/setup)
