why the data viewers do not simply have lists as their data source ?

You have List Viewer for that…
Data List Viewer is much more customizable, so it needs a more complex source.

hi

I remember a time not so long ago when thunkable and other tools (through extensions) offered data viewers linked to lists, customization and efficiency

we cannot create a data source dynamically if I am not mistaken

If you are using StP then you can use **clone** blocks to produce something like a `Data Viewer` using lists.

that’s why importing data viewers from StP to DnD didn’t interest me more than that
I will turn to StP and the clones
thank you for your suggestion
hope there is an effective video about it

Here’s a fun example on using a custom data viewier to consume/display API data related to news.

Very simple but it should serve as an example for your uses!
