# Data Source Filtering

Hi. Love to see the new filtered View and filter blocks in Data Source.

A couple of thoughts:

- is there a “_", i.e. when I update filter, I’d like to say something like "country=_” to mimic a “select \* from” SQL

- set view-- would be nice to be able to dynamically set DataSource’s View but right now no blocks for that

- the “get row” blocks in Data source don’t seem to be including the id (the hidden column of rows). Need this to be able to update things

- I like the getFirstRow block, is there plans for getRows block to get multiple (filtered) rows.

Hi David,

Just want to say thank you so much beacuse everything that I know in thunkable is because of your videos. They are great!  
I still think it is very frustraring that Thunkable does not have a block to filter the data properly instead of doing it on the datasource which makes it looks ridiculous when the app has simultaneous accesses. It is such a basic feature.

Anyways, thank you again for sharing your knowledge.
