# Custom data list with new UI

Hi,

I need to create a custom data list with the new UI, adding a button following the image and text. How can I do that?

To my knowledge, there is no way to save a drag and drop screen as a data list viewer template. You can still create templates using a non-drag-and-drop project, then use that template in a drag and drop data list viewer template.

Thanks, just to clarify: What you suggest is to create a custom layout with a different project using the old version, save that, and then use that layout with the new UI? That works?
