# Count of steps in thunkable x

how can I count steps via thunkable x? or can I use thunkable components on thunkable x platform ?

Hi @sousie, thanks for your question!

To create a step counter you would need an accelerometer, which unfortunately is not available in Thunkable X at the moment, but we hope to add it in later in the year.

Also, Classic components are not reusable with in Thunkable X.
