# Clicking on a component in a container moves the component out

I mentioned this in a support chat recently but it’s still a bug that I hope can get fixed soon.
When I click on a component inside a container (Drag & Drop interface), it moves the component outside/above the container in the component tree on the left sidebar, as seen in the gif below. It makes designing screen layouts really time-consuming because components keep moving around when I select them.

Hello @tatiang
We were able to identify the root cause and develop a fix and we are testing it and working on a plan to release it to production so everything can work as normal again.
We’re committed to finding a resolution quickly, and we will keep you updated as soon as there is any progress.

Any update on this? It’s still happening and it makes editing components so time-consuming.

Yes, with images. If I drag an image into a container inside a layout and then click on the image, it moves the image component outside of the container.
