# ChatGPT API deprecated

I have 2 students attempting to integrate the ChatGPT API into their app, but get an error message saying it’s been deprecated. We believe we followed all of the directions on the Thunkable site.

Our team is working on updating the default model now and I anticipate that fix being released soon. We’ll keep you updated here as soon as that happens!
