# Canvas bigger than screen?

Hi there,
I would like to have sprites come close to the edges and also be able to leave the screen.
Up to now when I counted the x value up to the canvas.width and went further,
the sprite started to shiver and then leave the screen all at once.
How can I have a canvas that is bigger than a screen?
The aim is to create a scrollable background like the example for App Inventor

Any update on this? We have been asked to create an app for a museum that would allow users to scroll across a large image on a phone with a sprite on top of the image.
