# Can't write row to local databse

Hi,

If you are opening the table to see if the rows are added, don’t. Once a table is created manually, if you add data via blocks you cannot see them when you look at the table. [I have asked about this](https://community.thunkable.com/t/why-the-ability-to-view-data-in-local-tables-is-paramount/2770163/7) but the situation hasn’t changed.

What I recommend you do is to use a Google Sheet in the first instance to ensure that you can do basic CRUD.

Once that works you can then transition to a local database.
