# Cannot publish my app updates to Google Play Store

Hi all,

After successfully publishing my app on Google Play Store, I tried to release an update this week so I downloaded the a .AAB file and uploaded this to the Google Play Console. When I try to move the update from draft and into review, I receive the following error message:

_"This release includes the com.google.android.gms.permission.AD\_ID permission but your declaration on Play Console says your app doesn’t use advertising ID._

_You must update your advertising ID declaration."_

My app does not use any adverts. Is this an update to the way thunkable creates App Bundles?

It seems I cannot progress with my update until this is resolved. All advice appreciated.

Hello @grant.mccallum  
You will need to select yes.  
And then Select all that apply: App functionality, Analytics

If you use the AdMob component(s), you need to select Advertising or marketing

Thanks Ioannis - that worked beautifully. Odd that this wasn’t an issue with the main release and has only become an issue since I updated it.
