# Can I create a native app to be usied on both andriod and ios for counting steps?

Can I create a native app to be used on both android and ios for counting steps? Has anyone done this already and any tips or examples please?

We do not currently offer the ability to natively access health and fitness information from a device, especially for iOS devices. On Android, there may be a [Web API](https://docs.thunkable.com/blocks/advanced-app-features/web-api) you could call depending on the app used.
