# Button Text Bug in Thunkable v531

I’m seeing a new issue affecting buttons in both the Live App and exported APKs.

Any button that changes from a disabled state to an enabled state via blocks now loses all of its text.

The button still functions, but the label is wiped the moment it becomes enabled.

I’ve reproduced this in a minimal test project here:

Expected behaviour:  
Button text remains regardless of the enabled/disabled status

Actual behaviour:  
Button text disappears as soon as the button becomes enabled.

Hi @grant.mccallum  
I am able to replicate the issue, and I will flag it to the engineers.  
Do you mean that this issue started happening on V531?

That’s correct. This was working fine in v530 and broke with the update to v531.

I would like to let you know that we have now officially released a fix for this bug.

Please keep in mind that you may need to do a [hard refresh](https://docs.thunkable.com/getting-started/data-sources/data-sources#hard-refresh-your-browser) of your browser for the changes to take effect in your project. If this issue is present on the [Thunkable Live](https://thunkable.com/mobile) app, you will want to update that through the App Store and/or Google Play Store before any changes will occur. If your [downloaded or published app](https://docs.thunkable.com/publishing-apps/publish) is affected by this bug, you will need to re-download or re-publish your app for these changes to take effect.
