# BLE Bluetooth Scan not working with Simple List

Hi,

I am just trying to achieve the BLE Scan functionality using the documentation on this page- [Bluetooth Low Energy Blocks | Thunkable Docs](https://docs.thunkable.com/blocks/advanced-app-features/bluetooth-low-energy)

Somehow Simple List doesn’t show up in Web Preview or Live Test even though I can see it on the UI, and the Scan function doesn’t seem to be making. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. Can anyone help?

Hi there,

Have you checked if the data you entered in the Simple List is containing data? If not, then you will have to add some to show the list.

@AmyB BLE is not a [supported function](https://docs.thunkable.com/publishing/publish-as-a-web-app-pro/troubleshooting#unsupported-components) in Web Preview. The scan is working for me on Thunkable Live. Can you ensure you have location services and Bluetooth enabled in the Thunkable Live app settings?
