# Best Tools for Testing APIs Quickly? (Postman Alternatives for App Builders)

Hi everyone, I’m building some apps that heavily rely on external APIs, and I’m finding that using **Postman** is getting a bit slow and overwhelming for quick iteration.

I’ve heard about lighter tools like **Bruno** , but I’m wondering if there are other options that work well for **rapid API testing** , **mocking** , and maybe even **auto-generating docs** to speed up app development.

Would love to hear what tools you’re using that are faster or simpler than Postman.

Postman is great, but you can also try Insomnia, Paw (for Mac users), or Hoppscotch (a lightweight, web-based alternative). They’re fast, user-friendly, and perfect for mobile app development workflows!
