# App getting cropped from all 4 sides on Android devices

Hello all,
The app is getting cropped from all 4 sides as seen in attached screenshot on all android devices. This is happening for all screens on the app. I have been working on this app for the last 4 years with continuous updates but this problem started happening 2 weeks ago when i downloaded an APK after making updates. Below is the link to the project. Please suggest solutions as this is preventing me to publish app for client use. Thank you

YES!! I am also having the same issue. I have an android app that needs to run on phone and tablet.
In the tablet, The app is visible only in a smaller box in the center of the screen. On the sides I see like the background android launcher and apps etc., Like the app is cropped to a small area in the center.
I would love a fix also ASAP cause I was about to release it tomorrow and unfortunately cannot!
I tried both test and prod APK downloads and still same issues. APKs from few months ago work fine (pre I got into new plans?)

I was able to replicate this issue on projects with an icon or a splash screen image.
We have flagged it to our engineering team and will provide an update as soon as possible.

Hello @ioannis - Thank you for the reply.
You are correct - In my project the “Icon” is the issue. (I was able to verify this after creating a test project with and without the icon)
I am unable to find any option to remove the “Icon” from settings page.
If this functionality does not exist - I would need help from you or Thunkable to use your Admin super powers to remove the Icon from the below project. Need your urgent help today so that i can publish the App to clients. Thank you

Hi,
Unfortunately, there is no way to remove the icon from your project.
I have remixed your project, and the new project has no icon.

To publish this new project, you need to connect data sources, update data source blocks, re-enter the API keys, App (Bundle) ID, version number, and Android Keystore of the original app to the new project if the app is published on the Google Play Store.

If your [downloaded or published app](https://docs.thunkable.com/publishing-apps/publish) is affected by this bug, you will need to re-download or re-publish your app for these changes to take effect.
