# App crashing on Android 9, also google says it doesn't target the latest API (with screenshots)

App crashing on Android 9, also google says it doesn’t target the latest API when uploading the APK. Is this related? Seems so.

Android 8.1 is fine. All the app has is an webviewer on the first page and an unused localDB component, nothing else.  
Anyway, here’s an example of what happens when trying to run in Android 9:
