# Any Container click event for use with cloned containers

Please add the ability to detect a click event for a container using Any Component blocks. I first brought this up two years ago here: [Is there a way to detect a click in a cloned Group or Container using Layouts (beta)?](https://community.thunkable.com/t/is-there-a-way-to-detect-a-click-in-a-cloned-group-or-container-using-layouts-beta/2105387).

This is necessary to simulate a Data Viewer List using cloned components.

Here is the existing click event block that does **not** include Containers:

This was set to get released and somehow it never did. I’ll look into it a bit more and get back to you on why not and if we have a timeline for release in the future.

It would be great to have this. I end up doing so many workarounds each time I want to clone containers.
