# Add new item to top of list

Hello, is there a way to make the latest row in the local db to present first in the data viewer list?  
meaning when a new row is added to the data source (not airtable or spreadsheet) it will be the first item on the list.

Hey @oreeldadln,

Unfortunately there’s no “insert” block available for the localDB right now.

You can do this with the List blocks - but it depends on how many columns of data you have.

Can you tell me a little more about what your requirements are here please?

i want to create a diary that is built from one row with many different columns.  
i want the latest row to appear first in this data list viewer component, so the user wont have to scroll down to see his latest added row.
